Figma has launched new MCP skills and tools that integrate FigJam with AI coding agents. The new `figma-use-figjam` MCP skill lets agents read and write directly to FigJam boards, while `generate-project-plan` converts docs, codebases, and conversations into visual boards. The workflow enables engineers to turn agent-generated plans into interactive architecture and ER diagrams for team review before implementation. The `get_figjam` tool then brings board content back into the coding environment. Currently in free beta, the integration works with MCP clients including Cursor, Claude Code, Codex CLI, Copilot, and Augment.
