FFmpeg has integrated an AV1 RTP packetizer and depacketizer, allowing AV1 RTP streaming via RTSP between FFmpeg instances and with GStreamer. This feature follows most of the official AV1 RTP specification and includes necessary SDP attributes. Currently marked as experimental, it addresses sequence header searches for broken AV1 encoders and halts depacketizing upon corruption until the next keyframe.
