Fedora 45 has received FESCo approval for a new web frontend feature tied to Linux's DRM Panic (the kernel's equivalent of a Blue Screen of Death). Instead of encoding raw kernel logs into a QR code, the panic screen will link users to a custom Fedora web page that displays the kernel log in a readable format and guides them through filing a bug report. The feature is expected to ship with Fedora 45, due toward the end of 2026.
