The FBI and Justice Department seized two websites belonging to the pro-Iranian hacktivist group Handala following a destructive cyberattack on U.S. medical tech giant Stryker. Handala had claimed responsibility for the Stryker hack, which involved compromising an internal administrator account, taking over Microsoft Intune dashboards, and wiping thousands of employee devices. The group said the attack was retaliation for a U.S. missile strike on an Iranian school. Seizure banners on the sites cited coordination with a foreign state actor. Handala acknowledged the takedowns on Telegram but vowed to continue operations, while an analyst warned the group could resume activity through IRGC-linked media channels.
