Octopus Deploy version 2026.1.6552 expands tag sets beyond tenants to now support projects, environments, and runbooks. Three tag set types are available: MultiSelect, SingleSelect, and FreeText. Project tags enable dashboard filtering by team or tech stack; environment tags support compliance and cloud provider classification with enterprise policy assignment; runbook tags allow categorization and trigger-based execution. Future plans include migrating existing target tags into tag sets and potentially adding deployment freezes, variable scoping, and license usage by tag.
