First read it as “nutshell”. Would have preferred that name!

“Nushell introduces an open command that reads a file and displays its content in a tabular format if that file contains structured data.”
Calling that command “open” is probably not a particularly good idea. I remember that Mac OS X has an “open” command (often used to open directories in Finder) and I am sure they will collide.
They probably should have named it differently, either something unlikely to collide or something researched not to be in use already.
PowerShell uses a special syntax verb-objecttype which rarely collides with native commands (although the aliases often do).
