Towards Data Science has updated its Author Payment Program effective March 1, 2026. The new earning tiers lower the threshold for per-view payouts: 500–2,499 views earns $100 flat, 2,500–7,499 views earns $0.05 per view (up to $374), and 7,500+ views earns $0.10 per view (up to a $7,500 cap). Additionally, the monthly article cap eligible for payouts has been raised from 4 to 10 articles, rewarding prolific contributors more fairly.
