Excel… is a programming language!?

Excel is Turing complete and can theoretically compute anything a regular programming language can. Inkbox built a working 16-bit CPU inside Excel without VBA scripts and open-sourced it. People have created 3D rendering systems and even run Doom in Excel cells. Microsoft's addition of lambda functions enables writing reusable functions directly in spreadsheets, expanding Excel's computational capabilities beyond traditional spreadsheet use.
