Google launched Carbon as the next generation of programming language. It is an open-source project that is still in the testing stage. Carbon is intended to be as analogous to C++ as TypeScript is to JavaScript and Kotlin is to Java. The introduction keywords and easy grammar of Carbon make it more appropriate than Rust.

I think this is going to be interesting to keep an eye on, I do like the easy readability of the code and it will make it more attractive to those that have not written C++ for sure.

I think its too earlier to say that this will be a replacement for C++. I particularly doubt. 
Anyway, now its time to update my CV and add 5 years of experience with Carbon :)
