Tailscale announced five major features during Fall Update Week 2025: Services (beta) for making resources available across tailnets with intelligent routing, Peer Relays (beta) for high-speed UDP traffic relay, Multiple tailnets (alpha) for managing separate networks with one identity provider, Workload identity federation (beta) for authentication without long-lived keys, and App capabilities for third-party apps to access Tailscale identity through HTTP headers. Additional updates include a windowed macOS UI beta and tsidp, a lightweight identity tool.
