Bridgetown 2.2 'Verdant River City' has been released, bringing wikilinks support to Markdown authoring, allowing authors to link pages using [[Page Title]] syntax without tracking filenames or URLs. The release also migrates the default server from Puma to Falcon, a highly concurrent Ruby web server using fibers instead of threads with native HTTP/2 support, battle-tested at Shopify for Black Friday traffic. Additional improvements include bug fixes and performance enhancements. The project is also moving sponsorship to Liberapay with a $400/month goal, and a new Bridgetown Center plugin program is being launched.
