A two-day workshop in San Francisco (Feb 25-26, 2026) will bring together researchers from AI, software engineering, and related fields to create a research roadmap for building trustworthy, large-scale software systems with AI. The event focuses on three pillars: methodology (workflows, deployment, auditing), tools (security and trustworthiness), and users (capturing intent, human-machine balance). Participants will collaborate through panels and breakout sessions to produce a workshop report with recommendations for research, federal agencies, and industry.
