AirTags utilize Bluetooth technology and Apple's vast device network to locate lost items. An AirTag emits a secure Bluetooth signal which nearby Apple devices in the Find My network can detect and relay to iCloud. Users can then see the approximate location of their AirTag on a map via the Find My app. Effectiveness may be limited in areas with few Apple devices.
