Ente has released Ensu, a local LLM chat app that runs entirely on-device with full privacy and no cost. Ente positions Ensu as a privacy-first alternative to cloud-based LLMs like ChatGPT, drawing on their experience delivering on-device ML features in Ente Photos. Future directions include a second-brain note-taking interface, an Android launcher integration, or a persistent personal agent with long-term memory.
