Vercel's Elastic Build Machines feature has graduated from beta to general availability for all Pro and Enterprise customers, and is now the default for new Pro teams. The system evaluates each project individually and assigns appropriately sized build machines. Beta results show 80% of projects reduced costs by using smaller machines while maintaining build speeds, while the remaining 20% were auto-upgraded to faster machines. Teams can enable it via team or project settings.
