Pro and Enterprise users can now set their projects to build with a dynamic "elastic" setting. Vercel will automatically pick the right build machine depending on the app and its build process.

Vercel has launched elastic build machines in beta for all paid (Pro and Enterprise) plans. Instead of a fixed build machine size, Vercel automatically evaluates each project and assigns the appropriate machine — Standard, Enhanced, or Turbo — based on actual build complexity. This prevents over-provisioning and optimizes cost-performance balance. Configuration is available at both team and project levels.
