Elastic and Dell Technologies have jointly developed the Dell Data Search Engine, a vector database powered by Elasticsearch and GPU-accelerated by NVIDIA cuVS, embedded within the Dell AI Data Platform. The solution delivers up to 12x faster vector indexing performance, enabling real-time RAG, semantic search, hybrid keyword-vector retrieval, and agentic AI pipelines at enterprise scale. It integrates with Dell's storage engines (PowerScale, ObjectScale, Lightning File System) and Dell MetadataIQ for metadata-driven search across billions of files. General availability of GPU acceleration is targeted for Q2 2026.
