Private, Offline, Fast Speech-to-Text

Echo is a cross-platform desktop application that performs speech-to-text transcription entirely offline using OpenAI's Whisper model. Built with Rust for performance and memory safety, it runs locally on macOS, Windows, and Linux without sending any audio data to the cloud. The tool features keyboard shortcut activation, GPU acceleration support, silence detection, and is fully open source.
