Electronic Arts is launching the Sims Maker Program, a user-generated content marketplace for The Sims 4, debuting March 17, 2026 on PC and Mac. Creators ('Makers') earn 30% revenue share via a virtual currency called Moola ($0.30 per 100 Moola spent), which is notably lower than Roblox's 50–70% creator share. EA covers publishing costs including platform fees, VAT, and server costs. Content is sold as 'Maker Packs' containing 3–30 assets. Content published elsewhere cannot be sold on the marketplace, though free mods and custom content on other platforms remain permitted.
