Dynatrace expands AI Coding Agent monitoring for Claude Code, Google Gemini CLI, Codex CLI, OpenCode, and GitHub Copilot SDK

Dynatrace has expanded its AI observability platform to support monitoring of multiple AI coding agents including Claude Code, Google Gemini CLI, OpenAI Codex CLI, OpenCode, and GitHub Copilot SDK. For agents that emit OpenTelemetry natively (Claude Code, Gemini CLI, Codex CLI, OpenCode), Dynatrace can ingest telemetry on sessions, tokens, costs, tool executions, errors, and performance without code changes. GitHub Copilot SDK integration adds production context and software delivery automation. The goal is to give engineering leaders, platform teams, and developers a single observability layer to track adoption, costs, reliability, and engineering outcomes across all coding agents in use.
