Redis Cloud now supports dynamic endpoints in public preview — stable hostnames that can be redirected between databases without requiring app configuration changes. This feature addresses the operational complexity of database migrations (e.g., upgrading from Essentials to Pro, switching regions, or changing cloud providers) by decoupling the app endpoint from the underlying database. Instead of coordinating endpoint updates across multiple services and environments, teams redirect the dynamic endpoint once. Data migration remains a separate operation; dynamic endpoints handle only traffic redirection. Initial rollout begins with a portion of new accounts before expanding further.
