The ImportAssetToOptiDam NuGet utility automates bulk migration of digital assets into Optimizely's DAM by reading metadata from an Excel spreadsheet, matching image files, authenticating via OAuth 2.0, uploading assets with enriched metadata, and outputting a report with published DAM URLs. Built on .NET 8 and targeting Optimizely CMS 12/13, it addresses the common enterprise bottleneck of manual one-by-one asset uploads. The tool supports unattended batch execution and CI/CD pipelines, making it suitable for CMS migrations, DAM onboarding, commerce catalog refreshes, and headless DXP setups. Currently in beta, it should be validated in lower environments before production use.
