Dutch health-tech startup Ditto has raised €7.6M in a round led by Heal Capital to expand its patient-side AI consultation summary app to Germany, the UK, and Spain. The mobile app records medical appointments with patient consent and generates plain-language summaries, addressing the fact that patients typically remember only 20–40% of what doctors say. Unlike most healthcare AI focused on clinician tools, Ditto targets patients directly. The app is free for patients and monetized through partnerships with insurers and healthcare institutions. It reached 100,000 users in the Netherlands after hitting its 10,000-download target in under two weeks instead of six months.
