<h2>What is DevRel?</h2>
I think DevRel is best summed up by this quote from Mary Thengvall:
<blockquote>
To the community, I represent the company. To the company, I represent the community. I must have both of their interests in mind at all times.
</blockquote>
I found this early in my DevRel career and it’s something that has really stuck with me and guided many decisions.

In summary devrel is a method to avoid starting a failed crappy project that will never be getting any buy in from people who needed it because they ended up not needing because at the end it was not in their best interests.

I don’t know how to communicate with others here.
