"don't use AI for coding" is stupid

Exactly not! Beginners using AI lack important learning experience. This is a huge Problem.

AI doesnt create something new, it just accelerates work (in short terms) so I doubt in its revolutionary character. Work acceleration is actually main concern of business, not workers.
Using AI by regular people is allright. But imposing AI by business on workers is disgusting.

I agree. As long as you use AI to “explain to me how it’s done” rather than to “do it for me 100%”, you’re safe, you’re learning. Even as a beginner. The brain pain resulting from working on a business logic will come anyway, no reason for adding not-enough-good-resources pain as well.

honestly, worst piece of advice, don’t use AI for coding ever. You won’t learn a thing, unless you ask it to mentor you that it is, then I’m ok, but don’t use AI to just, “solve this for me.” Cause you won’t learn a thing, nor would you develop a habit of tracing down problems or problem solving in general. Which are essential skills required for a developer. If you can’t solve a problem without banging your head(not required but still) you won’t understand how things work under the hood, and it won’t be soon that the entire system would be run on codebases which can’t be updated, because sadly no body knows what it does or what to do.

“ai” is a great tool for experienced developers if for no other reason than we no longer need to wade through the shit-fest called stack overflow. there’s no stopping it now we just have to wait for the vibe coders to get bored and move on to something else once they realize they aren’t real programmers.
this is the updated version of script kiddies.
