What are you talking about? Models that small give really poor results. They’re only good for tool use, not content generation or coding.
Renting a v5p TPU for 5 months costs the same as buying an RTX 6000 Pro, which beats any CPU even 4-socket servers.
The most VFM inference machines atm are Macs. Nvidia DGX Spark might change that, but its 2 delays aren’t a good sign.

I don’t think he has Image generation in mind or some of the other things that people want to do with AI. I think people will start to want to own the thing they generate vs relying on cloud to keep there data a secret.
