I use just one monitor (my laptop). A lot of my colleagues think I’m a weirdo for this but I like to work from different locations so I’ve gotten used to just having one monitor.

Does anyone else just use one monitor?

I often work on my laptop aroud the house when working from home so getting used to one monitor was a requirement I made to myself.
You have workspaces you can create that mimic multiple screens which is great when you need to jump between things.
Using devtools I can modify the browser size to mimic different viewports.
Honestly just keeping my head in one place without having to move it left right and center is a major plus, and another thing, you don’t lose your mouse between all the screen that you have.
If you work with multiple screens on a daily basis I would suggest trying to use just one with workspaces, really does make a huge difference, and it keeps everything organized.

I use three 2k monitors, previously three 1080p. I can work with just the laptop and have, but given a desk, a full-size keyboard and an actual mouse, I leave the laptop shut in what Apple has called “clamshell mode.” This has been my way for 6+ years and I have no intentions of changing; reduction is peripherals in a reduction in productivity for me.

I currently use just my laptop but as a Frontend developer I have the feeling I would be able to work faster if I have an extra screen.
I could just have my screen of vscode where I just code and the screen for figma where I just look at the design any maybe a third to see my life changes without having to switch screens for every small change I make, and would like to see what happens after those changes.
