Docker Offload is now generally available as a fully managed cloud service that moves the Docker container engine to Docker's secure cloud infrastructure. This enables developers working in VDI environments, locked-down laptops, and policy-restricted networks to use Docker Desktop without any workflow changes. The service supports all Docker CLI commands, bind mounts, port forwarding, and Docker Compose identically to local. It runs over encrypted tunnels on SOC 2 certified infrastructure with session isolation and centralized audit logging. Two deployment options are available: Multi-Tenant for most enterprise teams and Single-Tenant with dedicated VPC for regulated industries like Finance, Healthcare, and Government. Docker Offload is an add-on to Docker Business. Upcoming features include BYOC support, CI/CD pipeline integration with GitHub Actions and GitLab CI, and GPU-backed instances for AI/ML workloads.
