53 and still doing it. Wouldn’t change a thing. Hope to be doing it for many years to come.

I’m 53 and this is false that coding is more suited to younger individuals. The freedom to build new things and to keep learning are essential for staying young. Stress is mostly self inflicted and experience and wisdom help you navigate stress much more effectively if you’re willing to learn how to do so.
The main advantage being young affords is less ‘life responsibility’, but in your 50s you are on the other side of much of that and the fields are even greener.
I’ve seen it again and again. When people are coding they’re happy. When they’re having to manage, spend time in meetings or other non-sense, they are not. GLFH!

I am 50 and doing pretty well when it comes to programming, and I really enjoy it. It keeps me young. 😀
I might consider to stop after 100? 😂
