A DIY reflow plate powered via USB-C using USB Power Delivery (100W minimum) has been built for soldering surface mount components. The compact device (80x70mm working area) supports two heating elements: a metal core PCB heater for low-temp Sn42Bi58 solder paste and a metal ceramic heater for standard Sn63Pb37. An ESP32-C3-WROOM runs a web-based control panel over Bluetooth, avoiding the need to join a local WiFi network. Project files are available on GitHub.
