Directus v11.17: Background Imports, Netlify Deployments, and a Translations Generator

Directus v11.17 introduces background data imports that prevent large CSV/dataset imports from blocking the UI, with configurable timeouts and concurrency limits. Netlify is now supported in the deployment module alongside Vercel, enabling content teams to trigger deploys directly from the Data Studio. A new translations generator scaffolds the full i18n setup (collections, junctions, relationships) in seconds instead of 10-15 minutes. The Tabs group interface is now built into core, replacing the community extension. Additional improvements include AI Assistant observability via Braintrust and Langfuse, Anthropic tool search, comparison modal filtering for modified fields only, Redis namespace control, a cache clear CLI command, GraphQL resolver deduplication, and timezone support for datetime fields. Extension developers should note a breaking UI resize from px to rem units.
