A maker named markniu has built an automated pressure advance (PA) calibration tool for 3D printers that uses a strain gauge mounted directly on the heatbreak to measure nozzle pressure. Unlike traditional indirect calibration prints that take over 7 minutes, this approach completes calibration in under 90 seconds with less filament waste. The measured value feeds directly into Klipper, and the strain gauge doubles as a bed leveling sensor. Instructions and code are available on GitHub.
