I really like the concept but I feel this needs to be integrated into another AI engineering platform to be killer.

When signing up for beta, you should probably make the drop down list show Java and the rest under a category of “Coming Soon” to make it clear. I know it says other languages coming soon on other pages, but the drop down needs it too.

Just have a glance at the concept of the technology really inspired me, for sure give it a try Digma. Hope that it will show advantages at some points.

Tried this out, not that impressed. It seems like it primarily does performance analysis of code during runtime, but mainly this is going to be based on test suites as this is how you typically run code during development. I don’t think it’s going to be able to give me any meaningful feedback based on mocked test cases, and good developers aren’t going to be writing tests that exercise external dependencies outside of the test context. There were some mentions of something like static analysis on the webpage, but I didn’t see any of this. It wasn’t able to give me any suggestions or actionable insights at all.
If my code is annotated with telemetry it did show me a nice little breakdown of where time was spent, but none of this requires any AI and we’ve had tooling for that for quite some time already.
I know it’s possible to run in a production environment, and maybe that’s where the real benefit comes in, but that seems like a lot of effort I need to invest before I can get any value. I’m not gonna deploy some AI black box in prod on the small chance that it gives me a few ideas about performance improvements.
