We’ve released an open-source starter kit for building custom composable digital platforms using Next.js + Strapi, powered by the Open Self Service framework for composable frontends.
It’s currently integrated with Strapi but we’re planning to support other CMSs.
The main goal with our architecture is to enable long-term scalability without being tied to specific APIs, vendors, or monolithic platforms.
What’s included:

<li>Modular page system powered by CMS-configured blocks</li>
<li>API integration layer (NestJS) to integrate and orchestrate APIs such as CMS, commerce, CRM, PIM and whatever you need</li>
<li>UI components styled with Tailwind and shadcn/ui</li>
<li>Ready-to-use Strapi content model</li>
</ul>
Use it for content-first portals, customer support portals, or as a foundation for full-scale DXP solutions - you can extend it with your own integrations and new UI components.
