Diagrid has launched Catalyst, a managed service for Dapr, in public beta. Catalyst simplifies building distributed microservices applications by providing an API platform for developers. Previously, managing Dapr installations required Kubernetes, but Catalyst lowers this barrier. Currently, it supports core Dapr APIs with full support expected by early next year. This service is especially notable for facilitating generative AI workloads through Dapr Workflows. The switch from Diagrid's Conductor to Catalyst is straightforward, requiring only an API endpoint change.
