Great article! I completely agree that manually drawing diagrams, and then having them be outdated as soon as you turn around, is completely unnecessary when there are tools that can do this automatically for you.

Would be good if the author not only names a list of diagram tools, but also demonstrates at least one or two system design tools to make his point clearer.
Without any examples, this article discusses general architectural design problems only on a meta level and wastes the opportunity to teach us devs something.
