Godot 4.7 dev 5 snapshot is out, packed with last-minute contributions ahead of feature freeze. Key highlights include: a revamped asset store ported to a new API with improved UI and metadata display; a new export template dialog that allows downloading individual platform templates instead of bulk packages; em-based image scaling in RichTextLabel; inline shader previews in the text shader editor; and a new rectangular area light source (AreaLight3D) for 3D rendering. Additional improvements cover audio bus UI revamp, Android embedded window support, Wayland touch input, raytracing pipeline refactoring, and more. 71 contributors submitted 135 fixes in this snapshot.
