Dev News: Deno Supports Open Source Repository JSR and an Offline AI

Deno 1.42 now supports JSR, an open source registry for modern JavaScript and TypeScript packages. JSR works directly with Deno and can be used for publishing and consuming modules. Jan Labs has released an open source AI chatbot called Jan, which can run offline on various hardware architectures. Vercel has updated its Next.js chatbot with examples of Generative UI and removed a GitHub OAuth application requirement. Flutter, the open source UI SDK, debuted at the Game Developers Conference and has been used to develop over 15,000 mobile games in the past year.
