A 3-Tier AWS Architecture is an implementation of a multi-tier architecture. Each tier has its own infrastructure, and can be developed simultaneously and scaled without impacting other tiers. The components of each tier consist of the following: Web Tier 2 Public Subnets, an Application Tier and a Database Tier.
