Hmm… Not sure if that’s the way I would approach it to be honest. @OP I would also annotate the example is in Angular/Bootstrap. Storybook or even Figma have modern enterprise level design systems. In fact there are many examples out there-- even creating your own in just css + variables. My $0.02

If you want to create a quality design system, I suggest never using any library as a base.
This creates several problems for the design team that can be blocked by library limitations or the development team will have to create customizations that can create unnecessary complexities in the project.
Using a library is only valid if everyone is aware of the limitations and respects them.
The worst type of project I’ve ever needed to maintain was a project with bootstrap and a lot of custom css. It’s literally terrifying.
