Design for the web without Figma is an intermediary abstraction, like Photoshop before it. This is perhaps the biggest, open secret to the productivity and viability of software companies. I like the idea of this, mostly because I personally spend a lot of time trying to verify the spacing of everything, but if I come in knowing what is good, and just implementing it, then I’d spend at least a bit less time in the ideation period.

Agree 100% depending on the nature of the project. I’m a hybrid designer and developer and I’ve achieved way more in the process of development than if I was sticking to Figma alone. I’ll toy with it just to have it in my arsenal but that’s it.

I sure wish I’d gotten this advice before working on my first project!
