Zed's December 2025 Quality Week resulted in 64 closed issues and 169 merged PRs, with contributions from 97 community members. Key improvements include editor enhancements like separate multi-cursor selections and automatic Markdown list continuation, performance optimizations such as direct-to-display rendering on macOS and reduced GPU usage, AI features including model favoriting and collapsible context badges, and platform-specific fixes for Linux, macOS, and Windows. The improvements shipped in preview build v0.219.0 and will reach stable release the following week.
