Decade Energy, a Paris-based startup building power infrastructure for electric truck fleets at logistics depots, has raised €22M in a two-tranche round. €16M from Eiffel Investment Group funds deployment of 100MW+ of battery energy storage systems (BESS) across France, while €6M led by SET Ventures supports software development and European expansion into Germany, the Nordics, and Poland. The company's zero-capex model lets depot operators receive grid connections, BESS, EV charging, solar panels, and energy management software with no upfront capital outlay. Decade Energy finances and operates the infrastructure, earning returns through rental income and BESS participation in energy markets. Founded in 2024 by former Volta Trucks executives, the company has already conducted 1,500+ feasibility studies and has 100+ projects representing 500MW+ under development.
