IBM watsonx Orchestrate has added two new debugging tools for agents: the Agent Debugger for instruction-following agents and the Flow Inspector for agentic workflows. The Agent Debugger surfaces within the Orchestrate chat UI, showing the structure of agentic applications, execution flow, and traces. The Flow Inspector visualizes how agentic workflows built with the Flow Builder have been executed, including steps that utilize Large Language Models.
