The Dataverse plugin for AI coding agents is now officially listed on the Claude plugins marketplace, simplifying installation to a single command. The plugin automates the full setup of a Dataverse development environment — including toolchain checks, authentication via PAC CLI and Microsoft Entra, environment discovery, workspace initialization, and MCP server configuration. It supports both Claude Code and GitHub Copilot, handles edge cases like tenant/region mismatches, and routes natural language requests to the appropriate backend (MCP, Python SDK, or Web API). Security controls like tenant admin consent and environment allowlisting are preserved and guided but not bypassed.
