Daimler Truck revealed its first autonomous truck demonstrator, paving the way to fully driverless freight hauling by 2027. The all-electric eCascadia has long-range sensors and a high-powered computer for navigation. Daimler Truck is working with Waymo and its own Torc subsidiary on autonomous systems.
