AWS has expanded its User Experience Customization (UXC) capability in the AWS Management Console, adding the ability to control which AWS Regions and services are visible in the console UI. Administrators can now hide unused Regions and services to reduce cognitive load, alongside the existing account color-coding feature. These visibility settings only affect the console UI and do not restrict access via AWS CLI, SDKs, or APIs. The settings can also be managed programmatically using new CloudFormation parameters and the UXC API.
