Vercel Sandbox now supports custom tags in open beta, allowing teams to organize, filter, and manage sandboxes at scale. Each sandbox supports up to five key-value tags that can be set at creation or updated later. Tags enable use cases like separating staging from production environments, attributing usage to specific teams, isolating sandboxes per customer in multi-tenant platforms, and tracking AI agent execution environments. Filtering sandboxes by tag is supported via the SDK for dashboards, cleanup scripts, and routing logic. The feature requires upgrading to the beta SDK and CLI packages.
