Real estate firm Cushman & Wakefield has confirmed a data breach caused by a vishing (voice phishing) attack. Two separate cybercrime groups, ShinyHunters and Qilin, have independently claimed responsibility. ShinyHunters alleges it stole over 500,000 Salesforce records containing PII, with a May 6 deadline for the company to make contact or face a data leak. Qilin, considered the world's most prolific ransomware group, listed C&W on its leak site separately. The incident is part of ShinyHunters' broader campaign that began in March after breaching Salesforce customers, with victims including ADT, Carnival Cruise Line, Rockstar Games, and Vimeo.
