The acquisition combines AI-powered code generation with specialized code review capabilities, including stacked pull requests that let developers work on multiple dependent changes simultaneously. This marks Cursor's third acquisition following Growth by Design and Koala, as the company continues expanding its developer tooling ecosystem. Both companies share investors including Neo, Accel, and Andreessen Horowitz.
